Worton Hall

There are two big lit hoops hanging over the main hall at Worton Hall, and they’re the thing you’ll remember. Once it gets dark they turn the whole room warm, so we don’t have to light dinner or the dancing ourselves. The morning is easy here too. The Cotswold stone cottages are on site, with beams, stone walls and a fireplace to hang the dresses off, and it’s a two-minute walk to the hall, so nobody has to get in a car in a dress. Outside there’s a long lawn running down to a willow pond with a wooden gazebo next to it. If you’re short of time we don’t even have to go that far - there are tall hedges, rosemary beds and long grasses right by the buildings, and ten minutes there gets you three different backgrounds. The courtyard is where we get everyone together, and we shoot down on you from above. If it rains the gardens still work with a white umbrella, which in Oxfordshire is worth knowing. Couples often marry at a church nearby and come back for the rest of the day.

If you like the way we work, tell us your date - we’d love to hear about your wedding. We always reply, usually the same day, even if we’re already booked.
