Steventon House Hotel

Steventon House is only ten minutes down the road from us, and it’s exclusive use, so the whole place is yours for the day with no strangers wandering through the background. The ceremony is in the conservatory, which is glazed and full of daylight, so it’s bright and airy right through the vows and the rings.

For the group photo, there are steps by the restaurant window or the open lawn, depending on how many guests you have. Couple portraits are in the private rose garden, where small palm trees give the photos something a bit different from the usual English garden, and next to it there’s a wooden gazebo that’s well worth a stop.

Dinner and dancing both stay indoors, with plenty of room for a lively evening. It’s a friendly, easy-going place, and you can see it in the photos, as everyone looks so relaxed.
