Macdonald Berystede Hotel

The Macdonald Berystede is close to Ascot, with six acres of Berkshire garden and woodland right behind it. That means we can take you out to tall hedges and proper trees for couple portraits and have you back inside within five minutes.

Inside, there’s a sweeping panelled staircase under a gilt chandelier, great for coming down in the morning and again at night for a photo of you both leaning on the banister. The lounges are panelled too, hung with oil portraits and warmed by open fires. The ceremony suites are big and naturally bright, and the confetti is under the glass and timber porch, so it goes ahead even in the rain. If you’re arriving in a special car, the drive shows it off nicely.

In the evening the dancing is on a chequered floor with uplighting, a fun change from all that panelling.
