Fanhams Hall

At Fanhams Hall the ceremony is in the Great Gallery, a long panelled room with leaded windows down one side and a moulded plaster ceiling. Its length is what makes it special, as the aisle is long enough for us to photograph your walk in from the far end, with every guest standing either side.

The rest of the house has plenty of character too, with an oak staircase, stained glass and a carved fireplace behind the top table. Outside, there’s an arched stone cloister along the terrace, wide garden steps for your train and a fountain in the formal gardens, and the brick courtyard is where we photograph all your guests from above.

Fanhams suits a winter wedding too, with bare trees against the red brick. Once it’s dark the whole house is lit up, so there’s one more chance for a portrait before you head back in.
