Dovecote Events

Dovecote Events gives you a brick barn for the ceremony and three linked tipis for the party. The barn has oak beams and fairy lights, and the Paddock outside is licensed through the summer if you’d rather marry outdoors. Afterwards, the stone terrace and steps are where we take the group shots.

Out in the field there’s a wooden arch with ribbons trailing from it. In the afternoon it gives you couple portraits with nothing but Oxfordshire countryside behind, and in the evening it’s lit up, so it’s worth a second visit. There’s open grass in every direction if we want to walk you further.

The tipis come to life in the evening, with foliage chandeliers and festoon lights, and once it’s dark the canvas turns a warm amber and the boardwalk lights lead straight up to them.
