The Chesterton Hotel

The Chesterton is mostly glass and clean lines, rather than the country-house look you might expect in this part of Oxfordshire. The ceremony is outside, under a gazebo on an open lawn ringed by willows, and the confetti follows right there, so nobody has to go anywhere.

Those willows are great for couple portraits, and they’re only a few steps from where you married. For something a bit more modern, there’s a living foliage wall and a dark patterned wall by the terrace.

Inside, the Garden Room is glazed from floor to ceiling, so the wedding breakfast and speeches are bright and airy. Later on, the dance floor lights up from underneath. When it’s dark, step back outside to the lit water feature, with the glass room shining behind you.
