A husband-and-wife team, based in Didcot, Oxfordshire.
Natalie
I lead the creative side of Pixidrome. My route into photography started when my niece was born - she was so beautiful I couldn’t stop taking pictures of her. From there it became photo books, then portraits, then weddings, and somewhere along the way it became my livelihood. And I keep learning - new techniques, new equipment, new ways of seeing. The work doesn’t stop when the day does - I do all the video editing and photo retouching too, shaping the raw footage and frames into the final films and albums. What hasn’t changed is the thing I love most: making images that make people smile, and sometimes have tears in their eyes.
Vitaly
I’m the geek of the operation, and proud of it. I’m the one who reads camera manuals for fun, calibrates lenses, and tries to keep up with what’s changing in the industry. On the day I photograph alongside Natalie and keep hold of the operational side - timeline, equipment, backups. We make a good team because our strengths are different: Natalie leads the creative work, and I gravitate towards the technical and logistical end of it.
